Hello peps.
We are currently working on Races and classes.
We NEED ideas of what classes should we add, and what privilages/skills for each class and Race would fit.
Share your ideas with us.

Mage's should have Leather Armor that has some enchantments that makes it worth wearing. Also will their be weapons? Like Golden Swords with enchantments you would see on bows, like Punch? Maybe that shoots Fire Charges? Just a thought thanks.

We are going to work over AncientRPG plugin Sonz. It has a nice spellmaker program that you can do a bunch of things. Haven't look through it much right now, because of some plugin issues I am trying to fix, but yes, we can do a variety of things. Though, I dont know if I can restrict races to specific type of armors. I'll look into that.

I have some ideas on what I can give out, if it is related to the plugin "heroes"...
Since most PvP will be through Roleplay (I'm guessing), there shouldn't be much of needs for spells or whatever. Just something to describe it more physically instead of having it to describe through words.
Classes= Woodsman -Archer>Marksman -Scout>Ranger Squire -Warrior> Bladesman -Swordsman >Swords Master
Rogue -Thief>Bandit>Brigander -Spy>Assassin>Night Wraith Apprentice -Acolyte >PyroMancer/Aquamancer -Servant>Priest/Necromancer>Holy Warrior/Death Warrior (Special Class, meant for religous means) -Monk>Elementalist Professions=
All Professions can create such wooden tools, they can also mine stone and stone only.
Herbalist: Can farm and collect herbal materials, they can also work with alchemy.
Miner: Can mine ores, from all kind. They can also create wood/stone picks only.
Forester: Can create any wooden material and can chop any tree down.
Blacksmith: Only class that can create any tool/weapon (Besides Bow&Arrows)

I like the idea of Alchemy. Potions and Enchants are my thing! I have just big dreams for this server and i'm not sure why! (That's probably a good thing though) But i know it would be difficult but just the idea came to mind: What about alchemy be used by the elite players (The ones who stick out as regulars and follow the rules. I understand there isn't a plug-in like this but we can handle it ourselves.)

I like your ideas Alex, I'll try if I can work them with Ancient. I know about heroes, and I heard its quite good, but some of the reasons I'm not using it is that I'm not that good with coding to set up the races correctly. Also about the professions, I like them, but I a little afraid of them. What I mean is, wouldn't they restrict the player so much, that it might pull them off. What I mean is, for a newly start player, being so much restricted wouldn't let him gather or build anything. That is something that needs good setting up, if we are going to do it. Also, one thing I thought about the races is giving them Racial abilities. For example, I thought of making the dwarves, having the ability to turn an iron ore (or gold or etc) block into a diamond ore block each day (because they are dwarves). THats easy to do with AncientRPG at least

I like the idea of making classes have the abilities and there has been many servers that have pulled me away, by the simple fact that, the begining has been to hard. Also with the diamond block idea, what about they also have a Permanent Haste effect?

Classes:
How are we going to work on classes? As professions? Like smith, miner, woodcutter, etc or as actual classes?

Maybe give the dwarves some extra look while mining or some kind of super breaker.
Elves.. hm bows I guess?
Humans can probably have some resistance skill perhaps
Khaz'ir.. hm.. il leave that one ^^

So at the moment you have nothing on the tree, so i'll put my 2 sense in. Human:Looting I or II Dwarf:Haste (like before) Elf: Jump and Speed Khaz'ir: Fire Aspect II (When i read the lore i imagined these guys as demons not cats. That is why i suggest this.)

Well, we could add a demon race. Khazirs are not demons, they are a race of the jungle with feline characteristics. Think of Khajjiit from Elder scrolls well about classes, we can stick with the basics and have trees? like - Footman - Bowman - Apprentice - Disciple That sounds good for starting races? I will also see if I can find a proffesion plugin that can work with AncientRPG, otherwise, I dont know. Thing is, I can't do much alone and I can't find any Plugin managers/devs to help me. If you guys can help me find a couple of people willing to help me on that, I would appreciate it.

I think that for classes, each one will specialice in one certain weapon, such as swordsman, with swords, archers for bows, might be able to have faster drawback, with training. A new plugin (if possible) Wizard and apprentice. Wizard will only specialise in magic, and apprentices, will speciliese in all but not as much as footman and archers will, they also foucus on magic, but dont become as powerful as the wizard in magic. more ideas, i will post soon
