Okay so, for everyone who applied for Writer position, I will list your doings here.
First of all, our Core Lore is just at an Alpha state, I want you people to have a look at it, and see if it wants any rephrasing, adding stuff, correcting, etc. Simply see of what is missing from details and explanations to make it easier understandable.
I want EVERY writer who has an idea to just toss it here in the suggestion post. All ideas are welcome.
Second, we added a new Race, the Khaz'irs. My idea. Minor race, nomads who believe in one of Eyshi's childs. Want you people to make some good writing stuff for them.
Third, anything else is acceptable. Even altering the Lore. I just want ideas :)

Great! I had an idea to make the lore on the Minecraft Fourms. The Lore should be in chapters that way it's not one long peice of text. I thought of this when i went to look for specific information and i took me 5 minutes reading down to find what i was looking for.

Thats a thought I had too, though I didn't have the time to think of chapter names or actually do it. Are you able to do this? Find chapter names and rephrase /re-visual it to look good? Also, I believe we should add a brief Lore description in the MC forums, like 1 or two paragraphs long. So if you want, you can work on that as well  |

A lore should be something medium ranged of text. Not really a story, most of the history and legends should be given out through roleplay. Having it as chapters can pretty much spoil a lot of it, so the current state is in is what would be in my favor... (My opinion and the current lore might require some grammatical error fixing a long with some enhancement)

I agree with Alex! That the full story would be like seeing the movie: then ask yourself, "Why read the book?" So i think the brief paragraph(s) about what the story is should be obtained through quest's. Which I would more than happy, to write/build or both. To a side note i'll start writing up a 1-3 paragraph summary of the lore that hides the details of the story which would make the quests worth doing. I also wish to be ranked so i can see the builds! And because i'm cool with building homes/temples that can be used for the quests. P.S. Can you rank me up to Writer or Builder or Head of Lore  (On this site) Thanks Loads, Jake. |
