Let me tell you it then, the story of destruction and betrayal:
We start with Drall, who created his people in the mountains. They work day and night at the anvil and live in the well-defended mountains; these people have come to be known as the Dwarves. Next is Eyshi, to put her fragile people on the floating islands where they'd be safe, and could live without danger, where they had a sanctuary…and within this sanctuary they would discover something no other race would… Magic. Thorak, who would bring justice and good to the world, He put his people on the plains of the world to create farms and live off the land, and these people have come to be known as the Humans. Baishil, to complete the balance, and bring evil and danger to the world, the shadow, and put his children, the hell-spawn, in all dark corners of the world, from the dark mines of the Dwarves, to the dark forests of the Humans and the dark corners of the beautiful cities of the Elves.
The Humans created an army, and started fighting the Hellspawn, which was hard, because even though the hell-spawn were dumb and could easily be killed, they were there in such great masses that huge losses for the Humans were becoming more common every passing day. Thorak couldn't defeat his evil brother, Bashil, and called for help from Drall and Iysha, who both rejected, for they were fearful that their people might be attacked by the same masses of hell-spawn as the Human's had been attacked by. Bashil was punished and sentenced to isolation for the rest of time.
Bashil's banishment was the end of the first era, and, with the three remaining gods repairing some of the damage Thorak and Bashil had done before returning to the heavenly kingdoms, not wanting to disturb their people with such battles again.
This is the story of the second era, the second god war, which quickly started and ended, but most of all, the era of the mortals, and their wars.
There was peace for a few centuries, giving the people of the world time to rebuild their homes and land, with a bit of guidance from their creators up in the heavenly kingdoms, Bashil got released from his prison, and went to the world, preparing to bring destruction and chaos once again, now his hatred and lust for chaos weren't only powered by the feeling that it was his destiny, but also powered by his lust for revenge.
Thorak headed out to the world, wanting to stop Bashil. But Drall and Iysha had their own plans. They banished both Thorak and Bashil, before either of them had done any damage to the world, thus, ending the second god war before it even properly started.
Lore has been scrambled as many scrolls and books were burned as many races fought against one another. The best historians have tried to put together facts from what information we could revive from elders of each race.
When this army finally set out, fifty-thousand men and women strong, carried siege weapons capable of burning through the iron doors, the Dwarves definitely weren't prepared for what was to come. With the help of the mages, the Dwarven rangers throwing stones and shooting arrows at them were quickly annihilated, and their siege weapons had destroyed the Iron Door within a few days. Squad after squad poured into the Dwarven kingdom, which had no real defense on the inside, as the Dwarves had always thought that no one could get past their gate, and that was true.
They were massacred. With no one left alive, the only remaining Dwarves were in colonies in faraway mountains that were out of reach. Even some of those were raided. However by the use of the Dwarves advanced underground traveling system the riches were divided, and the Dwarves in the remaining colonies continued living their lives, not seeing why they should go back to a ruined kingdom, like a few of them wanted.
Meanwhile, there was betrayal in the allied army, with the Elven Queen, who had gone mad by the riches she had acquired, and who had now become a follower of Bashil, ordering the Elves in the army to kill the Humans, and offer them to Bashil, believing that would speed up his return.
The Queen was quickly assassinated, and in a quick attempt to restore order to the rioting elves, a king was elected to lead their territory, he was a crowd pleaser, but not a diplomat. He gave back to the humans and the dwarves for what the elves did.
This was the end of the second era…Most races were at a loss, except the elves. The humans had no soldiers and the Dwarves’s numbers were reduced drastically. The elves pulled back to their Island and stayed solitary… Bashil saw the corruption in the elven lands and had returned even through the sentencing.
Now, onto the third, and our current era, Bashil was back, and casting his vengeance, fighting his sister up in the heavenly kingdoms, but Gaia was no where to be seen and Thorak was still imprisoned, many of his followers grew less by the passing days. Many Humans started following Bashil, thinking he might bring them the revenge they sought through chaos and destruction.
The Dwarves kept out all of this as they did not need to pull scabs off of their wounds. Their numbers were almost normal again and they planned on expanding. The elves were preparing for war even their melee fighters began learning the long range magic spells, but they didn’t expect anyone to attack them as they were so high up though.
However, this large group that followed Bashil was radical in their ways for revenge, and with the siege weapons developed in the war against the Dwarves they easily brought down one of the Elven islands which started a war against the Elves. This was indeed the chaos and destruction Bashil wanted. Thorak breaking from his chains, in the Maze of Shadows, came from and demanded followers and the Humans flocked back to him, as they didn’t have much of a choice.
The Elves did not attack Thoraks followers, they focused only on the followers of Bashil, and this indicated the third god war. Fought between both the mortals and up in the heavenly kingdoms. The Dwarves and the Elves fought side by side against the followers of Thorak and Bashil, however, were fighting against everyone else as there was nothing left for them to do.
So there you have it, the god war is once again raging through our lands, with Drall and Ishya together seeming the strongest. Then Thorak and Bashil with his hellspawn being released upon the world it seems that the world’s end is close by.
.
This is where YOUR story starts, which god will you support, which side will you choose? Drall and Ishya?, Thorak?, Bashil?, or perhaps you'd stay god-less, neutral in this whole conflict?, now is the time to make your decision, not later as the world may not survive that long. . .
